LOVE!
This might be my favorite dress so far! I made the top with a white and pink polka dot pattern, and the bottom out of a fun floral print, and made a small polka dot bow which I put off-centered where the fabrics meet. I think this will be versatile, since she can wear it now as a dress and later as a three-quarter sleeve tunic with some leggings. I have a bunch of coordinating fabrics I can't wait to get working on some more for spring and summer. I made the 12-18 months size and didn't find it to be too much fabric as one reviewer suggested. I think it came out adorable. Thanks for the great pattern. I really think this will be a pattern I'll be able to come back to, especially as she grows.

Perfect cold weather dress
I just finished up 2 of these for my twins, right before the cold front! They looked so cute today and the dresses came together quickly. Thanks for always having amazing instructions and adorable patterns!

Love this dress!
This one is a really satisfying sew. It is just so cute when you finish. I had trouble with placket, so I went really slow. The second time I stitched it up I had no trouble at all.

Two for One!
I love this dress! I made it for my daughter when she was 2 and she wore it for a whole year as a dress and now is wearing it at age 3 as a tunic over leggings. As most moms know, you don't find many pieces of clothing that they can wear for an entire year, much less two! I did have to re-read the instructions a few times when sewing in the yoke part to the rest of the dress, so I would not recommend this if it was your first dress to sew, but don't let that intimidate you- its very easy other than that!

Good results
I made a short-sleeved version of this dress for my daughter - short sleeves because I ran out of fabric! It turned out cute, but she is small (I made the 12-18 months) and it's quite poofy. If I make this size again, I would modify the front/back dress pieces so that they weren't so much fabric to gather. I am sure that the larger sizes would be fine, but on my petite daughter it was a bit much. I will definitely make this again when she is bigger!
